After arriving in the U.S. and growing up in Oregon, we started working young—picking strawberries and cleaning after High school—and eventually built successful businesses grounded in care, dedication, and community. As an Afro-Latina sister, mother, wife, artist, and former Olympic athlete, she has always embraced challenges with unwavering determination and grace. Growing up picking strawberries and cleaning homes after school, she learned early that hard work and dedication could open doors to dreams once thought impossible.
Her path led her through running two successful businesses-one navigating the complexities of international export shipping, the other sharing creativity and connection through sip-and-paint classes. An Afro-Latina entrepreneur, and advocate, she has spent years building homes-not just houses-for individuals with disabilities, creating environments where everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered. From operating her own disability care home to mentoring caregivers, she knows firsthand how a clean, safe space can transform lives.
Growing up in Oregon after immigrating to the U.S., she learned resilience early-picking strawberries alongside her sister, scrubbing floors after school, and turning every challenge into an opportunity to care for others. Today, she combines her background as a behavioral therapist with her knack for finding joy in the everyday to co-lead Reliable Quality Cleaning.
